Asian inspired Spicy Sichuan pepper prawn fried rice, this is actually a very quick and simple dish to prepare. I learnt this from a programme called ‘Chinese food in minutes’. I love to cook and I love the beauty and the art behind it. The fact that it also enables you to learn from other cultures and also add your own flavours to it is just amazing!!!
1 tablespoon of Olive Oil or any oil
1 tablespoon of sichuan peppercorns
5 cloves of Garlic
Red Hot Chilli's
8 Cherry Tomatoes
Light Soy Sauce
2 tablespoons of chilli oil
Heat the Wok over high heat and add the oil, when its hot,
add the sichuan peppercorns and stir fry for a few secs,
then add the prawns and keep stirring.
Now add the peas and keep stirring for about a minute,
followed by the cherry tomatoes and cook for another minute
then add the cooked rice. Finally season with soy sauce,
lime juice(squeeze 1 fresh lime) and add the chopped coriander.
Add a drizzle of Chilli oil and its ready!!! ;)
